Prosecco
Prosecco is an Italian wine produced in a large area in the Veneto and Venezia regions. The wine is produced using the Charmat method, unlike Champagne and Franciacorta. Prosecco can have either D.O.C. or D.O.C.G. status.
The primary grape in Prosecco is Glera, although up to 15% of other grapes is permitted. Although almost always sparkling, there can be still Prosecco’s.
